The project study revealed that in general, the sample parishes have specific requirements prior to and as a condition for mainstreaming civic education in their existing structures and programs. These requirements include intensive capacity building ofarish and community leaders, consolidation and reorientation of parish structures, raising public awareness on socio-civic issues, strengthening multi-sectoral partnerships and efficient information dissemination system.
