The data were generated from upland and lowland farmers from farming communities in 46 provinces in 13 regions in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, as well as the representatives of organization assisting them, and on other information gathered from a reviewf previous studies. The boundaries of sustainable agriculture (SA) are not defined unequivocally. As evidence shows, there are many gray areas in the field definition and operationalization of SA.
