This study focuses on the issue of jueteng and the gambling practices of an ordinary rural but urbanizing community where majority of the population are poor. Jueteng has been part of the history of the country. The case study posed the question: what culd we learn or understand better from jueteng and the lifeworld of a Filipino community?
