The 2022 Zamboanga Peninsula (ZamPen) Regional Development Report (RDR) is the last annual performance report relative to the implementation of the ZamPen Regional Development Plan (RDP) 2017-2022. The RDR has 22 chapters, with Chapters 1 to 4 as introductory sections. Following the RDP and the Philippine Development Plan (PDP), the discussion on the performance of the region is categorized according to the three pillars of (1) Enhancing the Social Fabric (“Malasakit”), (2) Inequality-Reducing Transformation (“Pagbabago”), and (3) Increasing Growth Potential (“Patuloy na Pag-unlad”) in pursuit of the region’s vision of becoming the Center of Sustainable Agri-Fishery Industries of the Philippines. The four sectoral committees of the Regional Development Council (RDC) IX assessed, monitored, and validated the targets, goals, objectives, outcomes, and impacts enumerated in the various chapters of the Plan.
