The mid-term review of the Western Visayas Regional Development Plan (RDP), 2017-2022 analyzed the accomplishments and effectiveness of development programs, projects and policies implemented in the first three years to guide planners in deciding whether to continue on the current strategies or introduce other interventions in the remaining plan period.
The updated RDP 2017-2022 has 21 chapters which mirror the Philippine Development Plan chapters to link the national, regional, and local development goals and targets. The RDC VI approved and updated Western Visayas RDP 2017-2022 during its fourth quarter Regional Development Council VI meeting held on November 22, 2019.
