The Ligtas na Kalsada for All (LinK4All) Project is an exploratory project that leverages the role of the Regional Development Council VI in coordinating road safety initiatives of individual actors within and outside of the government. It will provide ways forward for evidence-based and targeted planning, investment programming, and implementation of road safety projects. In addition, it adopts a four-step cycle that ensures an informed and effective action points to reduce road crash injuries and fatalities.
These guidelines provide the overall guidance on the pilot implementation of the LinK4All Project and will cover the context of Western Visayas. Thus, the replication of the project to other regions or areas will be covered by the Subnational Road Safety Action Planning Manual. The formulation of such manual will be done in parallel with the implementation of the LinK4All project to ensure that challenges experienced in the pilot project will not be adversely experienced in the future replications.
