The Western Visayas Regional Development Plan (RDP), 2023-2028 is an accompanying document of the Philippine Development Plan, 2023-2028 which brings the promise of economic and social transformation at the sub-national level through the creation of more income opportunities and acceleration of poverty reduction in the next six years.
The RDP 2023-2028 is comprised of 18 chapters which reflects the PDP 2023-2028 framework and harmonizes the national, regional, and local development goals and targets. The Regional Development Council VI approved and adopted the RDP 2023-2028 during its first quarter regular meeting held on March 24, 2023, in Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan.
