ACSPPA Book 03: Local Government in the Philippines: Four Best Practices in Service Delivery

These four case studies include agriculture and rural development in Irosin, Sorsogon, growth promoting infrastructure in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, social council infrastructure in Bohol Province and the social sector in North Cotabato Province. These best practices prove that the recent decentralization has catalyzed better governance at the municipal, provincial and national level. These case studies are in-depth reviews of their strategies to maximize the potentials of decentralization.
