Lantaw, which translates to "foresight" in Bisaya, showcases the RDC VIII's dedicated pursuit of the envisioned prosperous and resilient Eastern Visayas. Contained in this newsletter are the efforts and initiatives of the RDC VIII leading toward the realization of AmBisyon Natin 2040.
A focal point of this edition was the approval of the Typhoon Odette Rehabilitation and Recovery Plan, named Barog, outlining the region's plans after the onslaught of the aforesaid typhoon. Furthermore, the endorsement of the Fiscal Year 2023 Budget Proposals from agency regional offices and state universities and colleges was also featured in this issue.
