Central Visayas Regional Development Report 2022


The Central Visayas economy continued to recover and expand in 2022 following sustained efforts to fully reopen the regional economy safely and manage the risks from the coronavirus disease. Labor conditions improved as the economy grew. Growth, however, was tempered by the lingering effect of Typhoon Odette, rising inflation, high oil prices, and shortage of some essential food items.
