These proceedings presents case studies on people-led alternatives in Asia and in Europe during the COVID-19 pandemic. The forum aims to demonstrate heterodox yet sustainable practices of Asian and European communities; highlight the importance of an alternative regionalism built on solidarity, resistance, resilience, and collective action; and surface ways by which practitioners in both regions can establish people-to-people solidarity as they challenge dominant models of development.
