The Western Visayas Regional Development Plan (RDP) Midterm Update is the roadmap for the socioeconomic development of Western Visayas, guided by the national development agenda, contains strategies that will contribute to the attainment of both the Philippine Development Plan (PDP) core targets and the region-specific targets taking into consideration local issues and concerns that need to be addressed. The updated RDP 2017-2022 has 21 chapters which mirror the PDP chapters to link the national, regional, and local development goals and targets.
