The Task Force, composed of health scientists, social scientists and women in health activists, had for its main goal an improvement in the reproductive health of Filipino men and women. To attain its goal, the Task Force performed various functions such as convenor, trainor, networker and collaborator, and innovator and implementor of projects. As a convenor, it has organized seminars and workshops of regional, national, and local relevance in the areas of gender, sexuality, and reproductive health. It has conducted training in participatory and qualitative research methodogies. As an innovator and implementor, the working group conceptualized and implemented a pioneering health curriculum project.
