This project is a three-year undertaking aimed at profiling the needs and concerns of a community through participatory research and actions. It aimed to introduce development interventions for women in an urban area. The project envisions the creation of a more dynamic and empowered women’s sector within the host community to help contribute to elevating not only the status of women but also that of the entire community.A participatory approach is employed in the project, emphasizing the involvement of women from project development and management to monitoring and evaluation. The participation of the women in project planning and implementation is a central element in the design of the project.
