The University of the Philippines (UP) Department of Political Science and UP Center for Integrative Development Studies (UP CIDS) Program on Social and Political Change (PSPC) held a public lecture about the book, Communal Intimacy and the Violence of Politics: Understanding the War on Drugs in Barangay Bagong Silang in Caloocan, by authors Steffen Jensen and Karl Hapal. The purpose of this event is to shed light on the violence that lingers in the Philippines even after the end of the Duterte administration.
