The Build, Build, Build Program (BBB) program is the centerpiece initiative of the Duterte administration, designed to propel the Philippines into a "Golden Age of Infrastructure." Its ambitious scope and substantial investment aim to bridge infrastructure deficiencies, leading to improved connectivity, efficient transportation systems, enhanced public services, and accelerated economic growth. This publication provides an overview of the implementation status of the infrastructure flagship projects, particularly the project count, cost, location, sector, and funding sources. It identifies implementation challenges and examines proposed policy reforms pending in the Senate of the Philippines. By enacting necessary policy reforms, the Philippines has the potential to bring about significant improvements in infrastructure, public services, and economic opportunities for its citizens.
