This paper investigates disinformation on a preselected female political figure to expose how women are targeted in the local Philippine political arena and how it impacts electoral processes. It will contribute to a deeper understanding of how gendered disinformation leverages false narratives on misogyny. Finally, this paper discusses how to counteract disinformation biased against gender in the country. This paper focuses on a specific timeline and dataset supported by related research and secondary data sources. The results are preliminary and may only be used to generalise some of the country's political picture.
