The Regional Development Report (RDR) for CY 2008 contains an assessment of the region’s performance vis-à-vis the Medium-Term Regional Development Plan (MTRDP) objectives and targets
during the year under review.
The RDR provides an analysis of the extent to which objectives and targets are attained and the factors that contributed to or hindered the attainment of objectives and targets, as well as, the challenges and
priority actions, and future directions or recommendations to address the priority concerns of the region in the remaining years of plan implementation.
The preparation of the regional report was made possible through the submission of accomplishment reports of the regional line agencies (RLAs) and local government units (LGUs) of the region for a given year. The sector components of the RDR were presented, reviewed and adopted by the Sectoral
Committees of Regional Development Council (RDC) XII. It was presented to the Regional Development Council (RDC) XII during its 28th regular meeting on September 24, 2009, where an RDC XII Resolution No. 37, series of 2009 was passed approving the CY 2008 RDR.
