Trade Liberalization in the Philippines: Assessment for Progress and Agenda for Future Reform


This study, which is designed to provide support and guidance to the continuation of policy reforms implemented, is a culmination of several papers written on tariff reforms, import restrictions, impact of liberalization, trade balance and government revenue being covered on four industries: textiles, pulp and paper, home appliances and flour and bakery products. The implementation of future trade liberalization, its likely consequences and its various complementary measures are discussed in details.
