FSI FI 2015-3: Making Sense of the China Complex

The article focuses on the difficulties of fully understanding China that leads to the grand dilemma called the “China complex.” It seeks to explain and evaluate China’s various identities to understand its global behavior. The article also argues that China increasing involvement in international affairs necessitates discussion on appropriate policies that are needed to engage China constructively.
