The case study looked into the institutional approach of the Landbank of the Philippines in financial services delivery to its mandated rural clients. The study described the macro-economic context, financial policy and rural poverty situation; made an institutional analysis of the Landbank in terms of governance, structure, human resources management, delivery program strategy and mechanics and made an assessment of its performance. The study made conclusions as to the key success factors of the Bank and remaining challenge for Landbank.
