The Bias Against Muslims: a Creeping Perception

Would you be willing to have a Muslim in your house as boarder? Or hire a Muslim woman as househelp or a Muslim man as worker in your company? How about living near a Muslim community? These were some of the questions in a survey done by pollster Pulse Asia in March 2005 to find out if non-Muslim Filipinos are biased against Muslims. The main feature in this issue is an attempt to open our eyes on the sad experiences of our innocent fellow Muslim countrymen in the hope that we can help eradicate this anti-Muslim bias and promote religious and ethnic tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
