The SOCCSKSARGEN Regional Development and Innovation Research Agenda (SOX RDIRA) 2023-2028 is a compendium of research topics, primarily in aid of facilitating the implementation of programs, projects, and activities, as well as policies, that would help realize the development goals, targets, and aspirations enshrined in the SOCCSKSARGEN Regional Development Plan, 2023-2028.
It is an accompanying document of the SOCCSKSARGEN Regional Development Plan (RDP) 2023-2028 that contains general research areas for the convergence of independent research institutions, regional line agencies, and vital stakeholders to address the policy gaps and produce research-based policy recommendations.
The SOX RDIRA 2023-2028 will guide the research institutions, academe, and individual researchers in identifying priority research areas that will be contributing to the regional development and innovation agenda. Likewise, the document shall be among the main references containing the idea for researchers of priority research and innovation agenda that are potentially eligible for funding support.
The SOX RDIRA 2023-2028 is a collaborative product of the Regional Development Council XII Sectoral Planning Committees and the Regional Research, Development, and Innovation Committee (RRDIC) XII.
It was approved and adopted by the RDC XII through the passage of RDC XII Resolution No. 72, series of 2023 during its 81st Regular Meeting in Koronadal City.
