This issue highglights the 10th ASEAN Defence Minister's Meeting (ADMM) held in Vientianne on 25 May 2016; the ASEAN-Russia Summit in Sochi on 19-20 May 2016; and the Trilateral Meeting between the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia on 5 May 2016 which produced the Joint Declaration on Immediate Measures to Address Security Issues in the Maritime Areas of Common Concern.
