Research Practicum on Population and Health


The practicum aimed: 1) to promote the use of research as a management tool for population and health programs; 2) to provide the mechanisms to enable health and population practitioners to use their research findings in developing effective programs; and 3) to enable program managers to select specific programs using research strategies for improving the operations of population and health programs. Sites included Manila, Davao, Muntinlupa, Dasmariñas, Tuguegarao, Sto. Domingo in Nueva Ecija, Cotabato, Iloilo, and Ormoc.
