This final article rounds up the presentation by portraying LRM work at the community/grassroots level, being the second prong of the LRM, which is focused on the empowerment of local communities to achieve sustainable self-reliance, or the “participatory LRM process”. Specifically, it details the approach of the “Ilaw ng Buhay” – one of the community development approaches used under the beneficiary participation component of the LRM Project, which was experienced in Leyte.
