The paper studies the influence of legislation in the evolution and growth of physical planning in the Philippines. In particular, it surveys legislative bills and executive orders enacted in various administrations which create and establish government planning bodies and functions, each marking a particular phase and milestone in the history of physical planning in the Philippines.
