The PIDS turned ten in 1988. It was thus a time to look back and reflect on its gains and inadequacies, its strategies and its direction. This report indicates a 50% increase in the PIDS research output. At the same time, new areas of concerns were prioritized. It also presents its research related activities such as information dissemination, library collection and financial operations.
