The report reviews the PIDS research program and related activities including the publications and seminar programs, library collection and financial operations. The report also reviews the PIDS contribution to the efforts of the new government in formulating a strategy to spur and sustain the country’s growth and development. A more active involvement in economic development through research is also reflected in its program thrusts, directions and activities in 1987 and beyond.
