1984 has been a year of challenge. For the PIDS, it has also been a year of growth. Substantial growth has been achieved particularly in the Institute’s research dissemination activities. In research, the Institute has continued to implement the research program over the last five years. Additionally, new initiatives are pursued in response to the challenges of the year. Section 1 discusses PIDS research and research-related activities. Section 2 and 3 detail the activities under the Publications and Seminar Programs, respectively. Section 4 presents the financial operations in 1984.
