JOURNEY TOWARDS INCLUSIVE, INNOVATION-LED PRODUCTIVITY
The mission of the APO, as defined at its founding, is to “contribute to the sustainable socioeconomic development of Asia and the Pacific through enhancing productivity.” In light of today’s challenges and opportunities, the new Vision 2025 to accompany its mission includes:
“Inclusive, innovation-led productivity growth in the Asia-Pacific”
This vision has three goals: sustained productivity growth; robust innovation systems; and inclusive engagement and shared prosperity. Each of these goals has associated key result areas (KRAs), which serve as tangible, easy-to-track subgoals that can be cascaded down to the program level.
