The Caraga Regional Development Plan (RDP) 2017-2022 Midterm Update contains the recalibrated targets, strategies, and programs, projects and activities (PPAs) to be pursued by the Region in the remaining three years of the planning period. The updated RDP builds on the successes and gains of the Region as well as its setbacks in the first three years of the implementation of said Plan. It serves as the blueprint of the Region in coming up with sound, strategic, and responsive policies that will maximize the Region’s comparative advantages and address the existing and emerging challenges in pursuing the goal of the Region to become the “Fishery, Agro-Forestry, Mineral, and Ecotourism (F.A.M.E.) Center of the Philippines” by 2022.
The RDP 2017-2022 Midterm Update also reaffirms the Region’s priorities and commitments to the various national and regional development and spatial plans such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), AmBisyon Natin 2040, Philippine Development Plan (PDP) 2017-2022, 10-Point Socioeconomic Agenda of the Duterte Administration, National Spatial Strategy (NSS), Mindanao Spatial Strategy/Development Framework (MSS/DF), among others.
