SEARCA MGB 2000 1: Field Guide of Discovery-Based Exercises for Mango

This field guide is a compilation of exercises based on the three-year experience of integrated pest management (IPM) field trainers from local government units and nongovernment organizations in the conduct of Farmer Field Schools for mango IPM. The exercises in this field guide invite discovery, comparison, and analysis that help field trainers stimulate the learning process of farmers, sharpen their decision-making skills, and strengthen their capacity to apply IPM principles in mango production. One unique feature of this field guide is the integration of field-tested experiences in mango production using IPM methods of the Thailand National IPM Program. Philippine IPM specialists from the Department of Agriculture and ASEAN IPM Knowledge Network Center have likewise enriched it.
