The paper takes a look at effects of major transport policies initiated by the government on urban quality of life. The economic, social, and environmental impacts of transportation system performance on urban quality of life are identified. Moreover, policy interventions made by the current administration are identified and evaluated in terms of their effects on urban quality of life.
