The study is an evaluation of the extent and quality of the various forms of investments in human capital in the formation
of Filipino professionals in terms of professional competence, professional preparation and continuing professional competence.
The competence of the professionals was evaluated in terms of the current state of higher education in the philippines in general
and the curricular programs of various professions in particular. Professional preparations, on the other hand, was evaluated
in terms of the licensing requirements of various professions while continuing professional education (CPE) was evaluated in terms of
the features and weaknesses of the current (CPE) programs supervised by the Professional
Regulation Commission (PRC) and various professional organizations.
