The article is on a proposed computer-controlled signal system in Quezon Avenue, which is a joint project of Transport Training Center (TTC) and the Ministry of Public Highways (MPH). One of the most sophisticated forms of control system, the TTC system coordinates the signals in the area in such a way that the vehicles, which are allowed to pass the first intersection, are able to clear the second one without stopping. These signals are a feedback to the traffic data sent to the central controller by detectors.
