The Great Dragon Effect: Whose Lunch is Mainland China Eating?


In the light of the Asian financial crisis, this paper discusses whether Mainland China has a responsibility to play in it. The China factor could not have been enough to bring the crisis. Hence, this paper differentiates between the complementary and substitutive effect of the economy of Mainland China.
