An analysis of the current financial standing of the DBP in relation to the current crisis is the primary objective of this study, as it deals with the causes of why the DBP is now unable to obtain additional funds, either from domestic or foreign sources. Three possible alternatives are depicted for DBP, together with an initial assessment on how those choices would affect not only DBP’s short- and long-term positions but also that of the country in general.
