The paper is an assessment of the implementation of certain resource and environmental policies from the standpoint of evaluative criteria. It also tries to determine areas of natural resource and environmental policy failure and success as well as the probable factors underlying these. Finally, it draws policy insights that can be translated into specific policy recommendations usable in the context of environmental policy formulation and implementation.
