Populations in the Philippines and around the world lack of access to safe drinking water. With population growth as well as lack of education and apathy about the water problem and related environmental concerns, sustainable access to water will become more difficult. Such in turn can exacerbate the situations of vulnerable groups. There are also predictions that conflicts such as wars will be caused by the depletion of this important resource.
