Green Corridors and Public Open Space Networks in Urban Design: The Case Study of Jung-Rang and Do-Bong Municipalities in Seoul, South Korea


The paper presented a case study on Jung-Rang and Do-Bong Municipality in Seoul, South Korea on green corridors and public open spaces. The long-term plan for Seoul Metropolitan Area. Herein, the said area was planned to be divided into north and south with the intention of creating an image of the future and planning goal of Seoul. This includes options for the development of a river area, expanding green space to other parts of the city, and addressing the issue of surrounding green space which is enough but mostly located in mountain areas.
