The Post-Evaluation Office occasionally prepares a synthesis of postevaluation
findings at both the country and sectoral levels to further distill the lessons learned from
experience of Bank-assisted projects which should be taken into account in planning for future
country operational programs and in developing sectoral strategies. This Country Synthesis of
Postevaluation Findings for the Philippines updates a previous study prepared in September
1993 to include postevaluation findings of projects that were postevaluated up to October 1996.
