The Cordillera Renewable Energy Master Plan is the blueprint of Cordillera's commitment towards the attainment of sustainable and inclusive growth and development, balancing social, economic and environmental sustainability, as the region harnesses its rich renewable energy resources and capitalize on the undiscovered power of its indigenous communities.
It outlines key strategic initiatives, that fortify and stimulate people-centered and broad-based economic growth spurred by enhanced access to reliable and affordable electric energy powered by clean, green and renewable energy without harming and degrading our environment. We aim to significantly reduce our carbon footprint as we address pollution and health concerns while creating more jobs, reduce energy costs, and relegate climate change and disaster risks to the lowest level possible.
