Cities Under Siege

By the year 2000, there will be 23 cities in the world with over 10 million people. Eighteen of these megacities will be in the developing world. What will it take to manage these cities? What are the challenges that face urban planners? What are the solutions? Cities Under Siege explores these questions by profiling urban management efforts in Bangkok, Manila, and New Delhi.
