How the Philippines can make the Subic Summit of the APEC a resounding success now that the cooperation is finally ready to spin off trade liberalization in the Asia-Pacific region is the central theme of this article. The author argues that if every member countries make the region a region of peace, APEC will be able to sustain prosperity and peace.
