22nd Development Policy Research Month Calls for the Protection of Vulnerable Middle Class

This issue of PIDS Policy Pulse presents key highlights from the 22nd Development Policy Research Month (DPRM), themed “Securing a Future for All by Growing a Resilient Middle Class.” It emphasizes the importance of building a resilient middle class, fostering intersectoral collaboration, advancing digital empowerment, innovating in education, and developing financial tools for sustainable development in the Philippines. Held in September, this year’s DPRM also explored how countries like the Philippines can leverage global challenges and opportunities to enhance societal well-being and drive inclusive growth, particularly for the middle class.
