The Center for Strategic Planning and Policy Studies of the College of Public Affairs and Development will have a policy webinar titled “Weaving Children’s Voices into the Tapestry of Social Development: Examining Child Participation Policy and Practice in the Philippines and Implication to Local Government Units” this May 30, 2023, at 2:00 pm.

Asst. Prof. Florence Flores-Pasos of the Department of Social Work at the College of Social Work and Community Development, University of the Philippines Diliman, will discuss the child participation landscape in the Philippines and an analysis of the country’s legal framework of child participation in comparison to current practices.

Asst. Prof. Ephraim Quinones of the Institute for Governance and Rural Development of CPAf will serve as the discussant.
