About the Speaker:
Sir Paul Collier is a Professor of Economics and Public Policy at the Blavatnik School of Government and a Professorial Fellow of St Antony’s College, Oxford University in the U.K. He is one of the world’s most influential development economists. He has authored numerous articles and books, including The Bottom Billion (2007); Wars, Guns and Votes: Democracy in Dangerous Places (2009); The Plundered Planet: How to reconcile prosperity with nature (2010); Exodus: How migration is changing our world (2013); The Future of Capitalism: Facing The New Anxieties (2018). His latest book, co-authored with John Kay, is Greed is Dead: Politics After Individualism (2020).
