Everyone is invited to the ASEAN-IPR's Discussion Series 2022 with the theme “Protection and Promotion of Human Rights for Sustainable Peace” on August 23, 2022 at 12:00 pm via Zoom.
This Session aims to further explore the link between human rights and peace, and also to learn from the best practices for restoring human rights in post-conflict situations. It also aims to examine developing frameworks to ensure the relief and rehabilitation of victims’ rights in post-conflict situations, and to understand the approaches to building sustainable peace to be able to help authorities in ensuring the restoration and maintenance of human rights in peacebuilding and peacekeeping efforts
