Integrated Symposium on the Future of AANR Policy Research in the Context of Rural Development in the Philippines


Join the UPLB-College of Public Affairs and Development in its seminar titled "Integrated Symposium on the Future of AANR Policy Research in the Context of Rural Development in the Philippines" on March 18, 2024, at the REDREC Auditorium, CEM-UPLB (Morning session) and ASI, CAFS-UPLB (Afternoon session). 

This event is a component of the DOST-PCAARRD funded project, "Philippine AANR Policy Research for the Next Half Century: Looking Back, Looking Ahead" featuring the ACIAR-JDF Roadshow, "Crafting Change: Exploring Policy Pathways through John Dillon Fellowship Research." This learning event will be graced by Dr. Rebecca Spence, Director of the International Development and Training, School of Environmental and Rural Science, University of New England, delivering a keynote address on "Leadership and the Future of AANR R4D."

During the afternoon session, Dr. Fermin Adriano from the Foundation for Economic Freedom will have a plenary talk titled "Reflecting on 50 Years of Philippine AANR Policy Research." Subsequently, there will be a roundtable discussion on "Charting AANR Policy R4D for the Next 50 Years," featuring seasoned and emerging leaders in the sector.
